Andrea Elizabeth Mouser
Mouser Law Group, PLLCI have practiced family law in Arizona and Nebraska. The laws across the nation are vastly different based on the community in which you practice. However, there is a marked trend across the nation to move away from the litigious practice of family law. Courts and family law organizations are beginning to offer a much wider and more encompassed approach to training all areas of family law in a manner that encourages settlement. Not just a settlement that keeps the parties out of Court, but a settlement that puts into place a realistic parenting plan, financial structure and maintenance provisions. The hope, and the philosophy that I have adopted for my practice, is that families can continue to operate as functional units despite the life-changing process of divorce. Children can continue to feel like their parents communicate for their best interest, and the parents can feel that they are equally valued in making decisions for their children. There is a better way to "cut the ties" and I welcome the opportunity to focus my practice on this apporach.

- I opened the solo practice in June 2008 after preparing the foundation for the practice for several months. Initially, my departure was based on an emlpoyment opportunity in Omaha, Nebraska due to personal matters that brought me back to Arizona. I was fortunate enought to take a contract attorney position in Omaha, Nebaska with Govier and Milone. I worked from June 2008 through October 2008 with Govier & Milone in Omaha. I had the pleasure of working on a very focused trial at that practice with an amazing attorney and her legal staff. I returned to Phoenix, Arizona full-time in October/November 2008 and began focusing on building the Mouser Law Group. I am dedicated to assisting clients with all aspects of family law and am especially passionate about working with families to compose and implement parenting plans that work for their children. I am also specifically trained and skilled at assisting survivors of domestic violence in developing escape plans and in leaving their abusers. I spend a good deal of my free time working with children's organizations. My ability to take on volunteer projects has increased dramatically due to my ability to set my own hours. I work a great deal with Child Help of the valley and am in the process of becoming a CASA volunteer. I also serve as a Parenting Coordinator for Maricopa County's Mental Health Provider Roster and am in the process of completing my Master's in Social Work with an emphasis in Community Policy and Planning.

- I transitioned to the Donison Law Firm in October 2006 to learn and work with Pamela Donison on the non-ligitated family law case. Pamela's practice is devoted to mediation and collaborative law, although I was able to continue to develop my litigation skills as well. Pamela continues to focus her practice on the non-litigated case and is who I credit my eduaction in this area.

- Began my family law practice in Phoenix with the Hallier Law Firm. I learned a vast amount about litigation and how to proceed through the Court process in a family law case. I was very lucky to have learned how to practice from Angie Hallier. She is a truly gifted family law ligitator and I have worked with her several times since I left the firm.
