I was born and reared in Greensboro, NC. I have been married for 46 years. Our family consists of 3 adult children, their spouses and 2 grandchildren, with another on the way. I have been actively engaged in the practice of law for 43 years, 25 of them deciding cases as a judge. I have greatly enjoyed mediating cases for the last five years. I particularly like the variety of cases that I can mediate - general civil cases, family law cases and workers compensation cases. I strongly believe that mediation provides an excellent method for resolving disputes, especially since the participants control the entire process.
