Becket J. Jones

Attorney Becket Jones grew up in Lansing, Michigan. He graduated from Michigan State University in 2004 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration Pre-Law while studying under the Evans Scholarship, a four-year, full tuition scholarship. From there he went to obtain his Juris Doctorate from Thomas M.Cooley Law School in 2009.

Becket is a member in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan, and the Federal Bar Association for the Western District of Michigan. He is an active member of the Kalamazoo County Trial Lawyers Association, serving as President from 2014-2015, began as the Co-Chairperson of the Young Lawyers Section of the Kalamazoo County Bar Association in 2012, and served on the Kalamazoo County Bar Association Board of Directors from 2013-2018. During the school year, Becket also gives his time and efforts to the Kalamazoo Central High School Mock Trial Team as one of its Attorney-Coaches.

Becket’s experience as an attorney in the criminal justice system has touched upon everything from city / state misdemeanor traffic tickets to federal death penalty eligible murder cases.
